I worked at the Bronx Zoo in New York City , while I was in college in 1988- 1989 My job responsibilities involved direct contact with animals which included, feeding, cleaning and observing any health issues

I specifically worked in the children's zoo with geese, ducks, chickens, sheep, and elephants,

I also interacted with the guests by speaking to groups with regards to educating them about the animals, eating and sleeping habits and daytime and nocturnal activities
