• Lead underwriting and structuring of complex CRE and C&I transactions (construction-to-perm, working capital lines of credit, mergers/acquisitions, etc.)

• Prepare credit memoranda, term sheets, collateral structures, and committee presentations.

• Manage sponsor and borrower relationships with focus on lending products, deposit growth and long-term banking relationships.

• Coordinate diligence with counsel, appraisers, and internal risk partners through closing.

• Develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients in the Northern Virginia and DC markets (C&I, Med/Dent, Gov Con, etc.).
• Manage existing accounts by providing ongoing customer service through a hands-on and relationship-based approach.
• Actively participate in local and regional organizations to develop a network and find prospective clients to grow sales, revenue and market share. (Board Member – Southeast Fairfax Development Corporation, Member – Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors)

• Managed a complex credit portfolio of C&I clients in the Northern Virginia, Richmond, Ashburn and Fredericksburg markets (sales $5MM plus).
• Structured and underwrote financing solutions for evolving business needs (business expansion, working capital, acquisitions, and real estate investments).
• Managed the entire transaction cycle from client contact, due diligence, credit structuring, term sheet, underwriting, transaction closing, and annual servicing.

• Contributes to the successful delivery of credit risk management function to the Global Payments business by managing and protecting USD $1.3 Billion of credit risk in the Americas region for global payments and foreign exchange hedging clients.
• Responsible for the effective and efficient monitoring of allocated portfolio including annual reviews, interim reviews and new requests by gathering and evaluating data, from both internal and external sources.
• Act as second in command and assistant to Credit Manager by approving junior analyst’s escalated credit assessments up to $1 Million in risk and making sure team members are properly recording their key performance indicators.

• Perform ongoing credit analysis of corporate clients in the consumer, retail, health, industrial and transportation sectors to proactively manage Citi’s existing exposure. Compose annual and quarterly written memorandums that focus on client evaluation and exposure management.
