My illustrious soccer journey commenced at the tender age of 2, marking the genesis of a lifelong commitment to the sport. Over the years, I have actively participated in various teams, achieving success both on and off the field. My formative years in middle school were characterized by a profound understanding of the game and honing my skills.
Upon entering high school, I had the privilege of playing for the preeminent team on the Island, an experience that I cherished with every passing moment. Our team secured a commendable second-place finish in the finals during my freshman year, faced the challenges posed by the COVID-impacted sophomore year, and encountered the heartbreak of a loss in the conference final and league championship in my junior year.
The pinnacle of adversity struck during the summer of 2022, just before the commencement of senior year tryouts, when an unfortunate ankle injury shattered my aspirations. This setback, while devastating, became a crucible of learning and personal growth. Despite the adversity, I persevered through surgery and arduous months of rehabilitation, eventually reclaiming my place on the field.
The triumphant return marked the culmination of relentless determination and resilience, reaffirming my unwavering passion for the sport. Subsequently, during the off-season, I dedicated myself to rigorous training, and my efforts bore fruit as I earned a coveted spot on the Men's 2023-2024 soccer team at Manhattanville College. Presently, I proudly contribute to the team's success, having played a pivotal role in clinching the Skyline League championship.
Community Service-
I actively engaged in an annual Chinese action, bringing cultural enrichment to the community.
Furthermore, I played an integral role in organizing a car show and participating in an annual car wash for the esteemed Kiwanis Club in Copiague, exemplifying my commitment to community service and philanthropy.
Additionally, my dedication extended to multiple food drives and various charitable initiatives within the club, where I enthusiastically contributed to making a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
