Additional Information

After a fulfilling career as a Cook County Sheriff, I've decided to retire my badge and return to my true passion—basketball and coaching. Over the years, I've thrived in sports and mentoring roles, from my time as a European professional basketball player to coaching and training athletes in various sports. My experience spans across coaching, strength and conditioning, and player development, all of which have allowed me to guide not only my daughter, who became a Division 1 volleyball student-athlete, but also other family members who successfully transitioned into college athletics. This journey has brought me immense pride, particularly as I embrace my role as a volleyball dad, helping my daughter navigate the world of collegiate sports while mentoring others along the way.

In addition to my sports background, my professional experiences as a Head Coach, Player Coach, agent, and strength and conditioning coach in Europe have enriched my perspective on what it takes to nurture talent and build successful athletes. My most recent role as the strength and conditioning coach for Illinois Performance Volleyball for three years has been incredibly rewarding, as I've worked closely with young athletes to improve their physical and mental game. Beyond coaching, I’ve also made it a point to visit local schools to speak with students about life lessons, respect, and chasing their dreams—values that have shaped my own path. With these experiences and my dedication to helping athletes succeed, I’m eager to pursue my goal of becoming a college basketball coach, where I can combine my passion for the game with my commitment to shaping young athletes' futures.
