Pursued enriching travel opportunities all of my life. Passionate about different ways of life, including all aspects of culture, history, and anthropology.
Extensive travel throughout Europe, the US, and the Caribbean.
I always look for ways to experience local customs and devote myself to history while also practicing ethical, sustainable tourism practices, such as Leave No Trace. Travel is meant to be an enriching experience for the tourist, while providing mutual respect to local culture and residents. Tourism should enrich the location, never take away from it.
I have planned and enacted numerous trips for friends and family, including multiple week Europe vacations, various trips while abroad in Florence, destinations in the Caribbean, and countless trips across the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska.
My thesis at Pepperdine University relates to these ideas of culture, history, and respectful tourism practices. It is titled, "The Grand Tour Reimagined: Kolb's Experiential Learning Model and the Transformative Power of Cultural Tourism" and is available to read for research or reference upon request.
