• Create and maintain documentation related to system build, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
• Support reporting needs related to perioperative services, OR utilization, and anesthesia care documentation.
Build, configure, test, and maintain the Epic OpTime module, including surgical case documentation, anesthesia records, scheduling, and related workflows.
Deliver elbow-to-elbow support for perioperative staff, surgeons, and anesthesia providers during go-live.
• Provide 1:1 and small group training on key OpTime workflows, including case scheduling, preference cards, staff assignments, intra-op documentation, and anesthesia charting.
• Troubleshoot issues in real time, escalating complex problems to build/support teams as needed.
• Guide staff through daily workflows (e.g., opening cases, documenting procedures, staff relief, OR handoffs, anesthesia start/stop times).
• Assist users in navigating integrated Epic modules (Cadence, ClinDoc, Anesthesia, HB/Resolute) when they intersect with OpTime.
• Observe and reinforce best practices to improve adoption, efficiency, and accuracy in documentation.
• Provide feedback to project leadership on common user issues, system challenges, and opportunities for optimization.
• Document training sessions and user questions for knowledge transfer to hospital IT and training teams.
