
I am a strategic communication leader with marketing and communications experience in agency, corporate (B2C and B2B), and non-profit organizations. I'm passionate about helping companies craft powerful narratives and build influential reputations. As a former television producer and journalist, I've spent most of my career working on messaging, from humanizing complex storylines to quippy social copy in 140 characters or less. When I'm not buzz-wording, I also work as a voice actor and occasional DJ.
Over the seven years I worked at First Orion, I was instrumental in shaping the company's voice and messaging, positioning us as a thought leader in the global marketplace. I led a team of specialists managing content, social media, event management, public relations, and analyst relations, influencing both internal and external marketing and communication efforts.
In addition, I served as the company's spokesperson, moderating speaking events and webinars, providing the official company voice over, and acting as a media ambassador.

I was the social media lead for strategy, content, and community management. I wrote monthly calendars, posted, monitored, and responded to customers for six clients and worked with brand managers and clients to create promotional material for additional accounts as needed.
As Story Editor, I took NMC research and broke it down into digestible media pieces for the masses through video, animation, and the occasional song. Together, we made over 100 videos about educational technology and its impact on schools and universities today.
I served as host of three daily shows and the public face of CW Arkansas. Along with writing, producing, and editing daily web content, I promoted the station through in-person and social channels and represented the company in the community. I also worked with the sales team to develop custom ad content for clients.
