  • I started as a cashier then trained in the scanning department where I helped with price changes, checking in vendors, keeping up and calculating invoices and making signs.
  • I then went to the gas station where I worked for 4 and a half yrs as the gas lead attendant.
  • Counted inventory daily/monthly of tobacco, lottery, and all items sold. Restocked or ordered all supplies needed. I maintained all fuel operations paperwork of inspections and fuel deliveries. Did monthly inspections of the fire extinguishers and eye wash station to ensure they were in proper condition and ready for use if needed. Checked fuel pumps several times throughout the day to ensure no tampering or mechanical issues and completed any repairs needed. Checked the spill buckets to ensure water was not being mixed with the fuel and all sensors were in place correctly for proper readings on the Veedor Root system. Then I was promoted to customer service manager in January 2023.
  • I count the safe and drawers in the office and for the cashiers, give loans to the cashiers when needed, make deposits, pickup and verify the change fund, do cash pickups on cashiers tills, assist customers in person and over the phone with questions, with refunds, exchanges, and finding products.
  • Deposit checks via mobile deposit on computer and verify and take deposits to the bank.
  • Check over the schedule and cover shifts as needed, assist with new hire paperwork and setting all new hires up on the computer with new passwords and apps, Kronos UKG and SAP Success Factors, needed to check schedule, paystubs, and online training courses, filing and completing monthly paperwork to ensure compliance, checking and sending emails and printing for department managers, fax and copy as needed, print money orders, handle Western Union transactions, answer customer calls and concerns or direct phone calls as needed to proper associate for help, enter sales totals on spreadsheet as well as totalling up shortages/ overages, checking and following all recalls, and manage the front end of the store to make sure everyone is following policies and procedures and ensure everything runs smoothly. Fix any register, phone, or payment issues as needed. Help load/unload trucks 3 days per week as needed.
  • Helped count all backstock merchandise for inventory quarterly. Restock shelves as needed and assist with ordering. As well as checking the fire extinguishers throughout the building and the eye wash stations to ensure they were ready for use when needed. I also entered work orders into Verisae or contacted the appropriate company/department as needed to get any equipment repaired for proper use. I also checked the store several times a day to ensure there were no slip, trip, or fall hazards and cleaning or fixing anything I found that could cause a safety issue for staff or customers.
