Comparing the Prod closures if they are compatible with our existing basemap, and provide feedback directly to Apple Maps and the engineering team.
- Only assigned to skilled editors to cover high-profile Apple-sponsored events and is currently still ongoing into 2024. Conduct an expanded search for any road closures related to the events. To name a few I have recently covered: Las Vegas F1 Formula, MLS League, Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, and NYC Marathon. These tasks require 100% full coverage and accuracy, attention to detail, and delivery of the project promptly.
- Once live, I am noting down the data in the Quip document to ensure routing is accurate from the user's end. Carefully monitor each closure in the Event's app tool in Fusion X.
- Handling escalations in regards to active road closures within National Parks in the United States. Ensuring the road closures are accurate and up to date.
