Responsible for independently performing installation, testing, modification, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of advanced electronic systems and equipment, including video, fiber optic, data cable, and other electronic and mechanical flight simulator equipment.

• Troubleshoot, repair, adjust,and resolve problems in structured cabling systems;
• Meets attendance standards and complies with late/absence notification procedures;
• Measure, cut, bend, assemble and install cable tray using measuring devices and hand tools;
• Perform fiber optic cable installation and terminations of all types;
• Correctly set up and operate copper and fiber optic testing equipment;
• Perform overhead and underground layout and rough-in.
• Assemble and install relay racks, network cabinets, wall fields and associated components;
• Conduct thorough inspections of cable lines to ensure the system is working correctly;
• Terminate CAT6 cable;
• Install, and run CAT6 cable;
• Terminate CAT6 cable;
• Pulling and routing CAT 5 or CAT 6 cable in a new construction commercial environment.
