
Team-oriented and reliable nursing assistant professional with experience in high acuity cardiac-vascular ICU

• Receive shift report from charge RN and outgoing CNA to ensure continuity of care.
• Assist RN with patient chest tube removal, repositioning, transfers, toileting and hygiene.
• Perform POCT (bladder scans, glucose, EKG, etc.) and document values into EMR (Epic).
• Empty catheter bags and measure contents per care plan.
• Restock supplies and prepared empty rooms for patient intake to facilitate seamless ICU admission.
• Assisting 12+ residents daily with ADLs, transfers, and repositioning including operation of a Hoyer lift.
• Helping residents with daily hygiene including showing, oral, incontinence and peri-care.
• Provide residents with emotional and moral support and promoting independence.
• Communicating effectively with team members, residents, and families.
