Responsible for the growth and profitability of the branch Micro sector.

Manages the team of credit specialists and credits of specific clients.

· Manages a team of credit specialists and ensures that all new credit applications are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.

· Works directly with Micro clients to sell bank services and to process loans.

· Assist Micro Account Officers in loan recovery efforts.

· *Is responsible for carrying out financial analyses of both new and existing credit applications and ensures that adequate financial information on the borrowers is maintained at all times.

· *Ensures that loan repayments are received when due, and, if not received, takes immediate steps to ascertain the reason for non-payment and obtains payment as soon as possible.

· *Is responsible for collateral evaluation and verification of values given for collateral.

· Is responsible for credit review of existing clients.

· Seeks out and obtains new lending business within the parameters set out in RBKO (RZB) Credit Manual and Micro Credit Policy Paper.

· Accompanies Micro Account Officers in monitoring visits.

· Ensures that all lending documentations are correctly completed.

· Reports any significant discrepancy on a loan, its terms or conditions, to the Branch Manager, Micro Segment Manager and Micro Risk Manager without delay.

· Prepares such management reports and completes other tasks as assigned by supervisor, or Micro Segment Manager as may be required from time to time.

· Is fully conversant with the Bank Credit Rules and Regulations and computer procedures as they relate to his/her area of work.

· Ensures team meets credit balance targets and cross-sells other services (e.g payroll, e-banking, POS, cards etc.)
