I am currently in school for nursing and wanted to get a jump on my career. During my last two years high school I shadowed many jobs in the hospital, especially the nurses. I was also in a medical class where we practiced phlebotomy on dummies, using the a gait belt, how to properly use the hospital bed and the right way to rotate and move patients. During the summer before college I went to advent health and shadowed nurses and the Cath Lab and advent health. I learned so many skills and gained new qualities that have helped me through my life at college.
