As a Paraprofessional in a preschool setting, my role is to support both teachers and students in any way I can which can include

• Providing guidance to the students while in the classroom setting.
• De-escalated students during conflicts by implementing calming techniques.
• Assisting the teachers in the classroom to come up with lessons and centers for the kids.
• Redirecting negative behaviors.
• Provided emotional support to students experiencing feelings of sadness or frustration.
• Monitoring students during playtime and making sure that their safety comes first. Always.
