  • I participated in one abbreviated ride-along with the San Jose Police Department with Officer Paredes, Officer Recinos, and two other applicants on October 30, 2024. We visited different areas, and observed different police officers at work. It was a fun experience being able to listen and see their line of work in action.
  • In addition, I participated in a ride-along with the Mountain View Police Department with Officer Angel. As a community everyone was both welcoming and friendly. There were many incidents that occurred, for the night prior there was a homicide case and an ongoing festival at that time. I learned a lot from this experience. From the different calls many officers go to and the different ways they resolve situations.
  • I also participated in a event hosted by the San Jose Police Department called, "Women in Law Enforcement," which went in depth about the process, physical examination, police academy, etc. They also shared a lot of information regarding the different departments they have long with their goal of 30x30, which is to increase women representation within the police department by 2030.
  • In high school, I was a part of the Piedmont Hills Track Team where I was awarded as a Most Valuable Player award. I was also awarded for implementing teamwork, hard work, dedication, strength, and perseverance through out the track season.
  • Although I am a full time student, I work at least 16 hours a week, and occasionally more during holidays and school breaks.
  • In between my school and work life, I do my best to maintain the hygiene of both my personal being and environment.
  • Recently, I implemented at least 4 days of exercise in the form of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or other forms of physical activity.
