- I Currently work for Lewis gale OBGYN Salem, I took my CCMA test for my Certification. I have been with Lewis gale for 6 years now. I am possibly looking to add something new, and furthering my education and experience. I have been a CCMA for almost over 1 year now, and being at the job I am in, I have had the pleasure of working in Cardiology, Neuro, GI, General Surgery, Pediatrics, and Ortho, but my main home is working in a OB/GYN Office. Currently I do work Monday to Friday 7:30-4:30 to 5 some days and off every weekend. I am looking to add more hours for my 3 wonderful kids at home.
- I used to be be a Lead PCT on the PCU in the hospital I was over all of the CNAs on my floor. I would have expectations of what they needed to get done and of course I always stepped in to help them, because I believe in teamwork.
- Currently my job is getting patients back to their rooms getting them ready to see the doctors, and also setting up the procedure room if any procedures need to be done. We also dip our patients urine to run tests. Also, we are given injections of medications to our patients; lastly, I answer phone calls and talk to doctor's and patients at the same tI'me, Managed multiple tasks simultaneously in fast-paced environments.. My job also consists of putting in orders and doing proper documentation in patients charts.
- Engaged with patients daily to provide support and assistance., I'm a people person and a very hard worker. I do everything in my power to make sure I'm caught up with my work as long as my coworkers, I'm a firm believer in teamwork! I believe in coming to work and doing my job and doing it the right way, because I also have a family to take care of. I love helping others and I'm a firm believer in teamwork!

- After working on 5 east for a few years, i transferred to 3 east PCU to be a PCT, I have always loved the heart, well i wanted to work with cardiac patients. - Assisted nursing staff in emergency room by providing patient care and support. I wanted to try something different other than working on the floor so I transferred down to the ED.
- Working as a CA in the emergency room i would help the nurses get Blood on patients if they were too busy at the time, i would help the nurses do straight caths on patients, I would also collect and document Intake and Output on patients. If a patient was being admitted to the hospital i would put them on a monitor and transport them upstairs to the room, and monitor them on the way up.
- I would also do my CNA work but working in the ER you always have to stay on top of everything and stay ready at any time. You would have Codes come straight in the door and the CA would be the first one on the chest. I am also Certified in CPR, I have always loved helping and taking care of people.
