Dean's Assistant and Social Media Manager

  • In this position, I am in the center of many communications happening throughout campus
  • With constant communication to students, staff and faculty, I am often the first point of contact for anything Dean's Office related
  • This includes managing and scheduling appointment requests for the Dean, organizing and keeping their calendar, and speaking with disgruntled students or parents to connect them with the appropriate department
  • Additionally, I handle tasks such as ordering supplies, managing budget spreadsheets, and hiring models
  • I have taken on special projects to improve campus functionality
  • This position requires discretion, confidentiality, organizational skills, communication, and time management.
  • In July of 2023 I was promoted to an additional role of Social Media Manager for our Pratt Munson Instagram and Facebook accounts.
  • In this position, I work closely with our Admissions and Creative Strategy Director to brainstorm content that will help benefit our online footprint, and drive Admissions success.
  • Responsibilities include collecting and implementing content, planning out the Instagram grid to be informative, stylish and modern, scheduling and creating story posts, and engaging with different social events to capture photo/video.
