Ashly Lopez

I am a senior at Memorial High School and an early college student at Palo Alto College. I participate and lead in various extracurriculars in my school, those being the Memorial Culinary Arts Competition Team, president for National Honor Society, powerlifting, Sous Chef for The Cutting Edge Cafe, Student Council, Master of Ceremonies for Student Council, female lead for UIL One-act, and Battalion Commander for our JROTC program. These activities help me stay active in my school and assume high-level leadership roles along with their responsibilities. Thanks to the San Fernando Cathedral Youth Group, I dedicate my free time to learning more about God and volunteer my time to help other teens find peace within themselves. All while still having good academic standing, assisting my low-income and Spanish-speaking family, being a leader in my school, and keeping up with my college courses.
