I apprenticed under Tamela Cooper, the owner of Banister-Cooper Funeral Home. I assisted in embalming, after care, pick ups, funerals, visitations, etc. I adapted to diverse tasks with dedication and respect, enhancing service quality.
I am 25 years old and a wife to Seth and a mommy to 3 beautiful girls, Sophia, Rosalie, Noa, and 1 precious boy, Atlas. I grew up idolizing Tamela and what she brings to the community of Hiawassee. Being the coroner and also owning a funeral home of her own is big and she did it with such honor and grace. I have always had an interest in the funeral industry and loved what I did when I had the privilege to work under Tamela. Unfortunately, due to child care, I had to stop and also found out I was pregnant with my next daughter. As we have newly moved due to my husband’s job and my babies getting older, I wanted to continue chasing that dream.I am 25 years old and married to Seth. We have three beautiful daughters, Sophia, Rosalie, and Noa, and a precious son, Atlas. Growing up, I idolized Tamela, who has made a significant impact on the Hiawassee community. As a coroner and the owner of her own funeral home, she has achieved great success with grace and honor. I have always been passionate about the funeral industry and cherished the opportunity to work under Tamela. Unfortunately, due to childcare responsibilities and the arrival of my next daughter, I had to pause my pursuit of this dream. However, after recently moving due to my husband’s job and the growth of our children, I am determined to resume my journey and continue pursuing my passion for the funeral industry.
