I have been an Activities Assistant at Saint Mary’s Health Care Center for a little over a year. I worked in the legacy unit, which has taught me patience, empathy, and how to work with patients with cognitive issues. I am skilled in enhancing resident engagement through creative planning and relationship building. Successfully implemented diverse enrichment activities and helping the individual who struggle, promoting cognitive health and emotional support. I am frequently very flexible and am very good with talking to families when they are upset. I love fostering a positive environment for residents with varying abilities in the work settings.

I am currently taking the EMT class at the GLCA and planning to go to college for an undergrade of nursing. Then I want to apply to medical school to become a cardiothoracic Surgeon.
