This one is slightly hard to explain using bullet points. Basically, I helped a friend build a 52ft pontoon boat, with a gantry frame. A Kabota skid loader was acquired; plasma cut it in half, and added an 18in venturi suction dredge with a rock hopper/sifting screen to it. Once completed, the monstrosity was lowered 20-40ft into the frigged Bearing Sea to look for gold.
