My biggest accomplishment was probably graduating high school. I know that probably sounds awful, but high school was a very challenging time for me. Balancing so much on my shoulders at one time put a lot of stress on my body and mental health, there were many times where I contemplated dropping out, but I stuck with it. I knew that once they said my name in front of my fellow alumni and family members, as I shook hands with my principals and took one last picture with my diploma it would all be worth it in the end. Graduation was by far one of the most frightening, yet blissful times in my life. I knew what I was, but not what I may be and that in itself was mortifying. Yet, it has been such an honor to be able to embark on this new journey of mine, I was always told "wherever I go, go with all my heart." That statement gives me goosebumps every time I repeat it to myself and it has shaped me into the women I am today. Failure will always be the condiment that gives flavor its success and if opportunity doesn't knock, build a door.
