- The second portion of my clinical was my pediatrics and OB rotation
- For my pediatrics portion I completed one shift at the Pediatric Urgent care in Orchard Park running Covid, Flu and Strep tests as well as giving discharge instructions
- I completed a rotation in the Medical-Surgical unit at Oshei where I practiced pediatric assessment skills as well as medication administration to young children
- For my OB clinical I did one rotation at Millard Fillmore Suburban in their Labor and Delivery unit and assisted new moms with feeding and diaper changes. There i practiced my newborn assessment skills as well as focused assessment skills on a postpartum mother.
