I am a nonprofit manager enthusiastic about building coalitions, grassroots initiatives to drive change, preserving democracy and expanding opportunity. I am highly proficient in progressive data tools, personnel management, budget management, strategic planning, and data analysis. As a nonprofit manager, I also have a wealth of experience with grant writing and research, organizational development, and day to day program management of large scale programs. I have spent the last 7 years in the nonprofit field working on issues to improve voter access, increase voter participation, increase awareness around the Census, voter mobilization and engagement. Prior to Nonprofit work, I spent nearly 8 years working on local, state, and federal campaigns.

The Maggie Walker Initiative monitors, evaluates and provides advice and recommendations to the mayor and a Human Services manager concerning the city's poverty reduction and wealth building initiatives and the city's progress towards achieving its poverty reduction objectives.

Officially created by city ordinance in 1993, it had its beginnings in 1975 as a part of the Keep America Beautiful initiative. Today the CCC sponsors programs that encourage citizens to clean, maintain and beautify their environment.

This was a Gubernatorial Appointment to the Commission on Youth. The Commission on Youth studies and provides recommendations addressing the needs of and services to the Commonwealth's youth and families. My responsibilities included: Hosting bipartisan forums for complex issues related to youth and their families; Studying and providing recommendations to the General Assembly on matters related to youth and families in the areas of child mental health, comprehensive services, child welfare, kinship care, adoption & foster care, child care, public safety, juvenile justice, substance abuse, education, health, and human services.
