Aybuke Fatma Sapmaz

Passionate about science since my time at an International School, I pursued a Pharm.D. program with a full scholarship, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Transitioning to Marmara University School of Medicine, renowned for its strong scientific background, I delved into research on Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD). Expertise in clinical and histological characteristics, coupled with research skills in SPSS and CTMS, led to Sigma Xi Research Honor Society membership and active involvement in professional organizations like the American Academy of Gastroenterology. Ultimate goal is to deepen understanding of NAFLD mechanisms to reduce necessity for future liver transplants.
