Beginning in 2007, I came to MILC as an RN Case Manager. During that period, up until 2012, I managed a case load of 60 consumers from enrollment through discharge. This included hiring, training, and supervising the consumer worker(s).
In 2012, I was promoted to Director of Medicaid Personal Care Services. I supervised 4 RNs in their Case Management of consumers and in supervising their employees, while still managing a case load of my own.
In 2016, I was promoted to Director of In-Home Services, which included supervision of our Administrative Coordinator and 1 RN. Together, we had a case load of 115 consumers and 140 employees.
During that time, I recruited multiple RNs until I found the perfect one in 2020.
In 2022, the two of us became Co-Directors and evenly split our case to cover 13 counties of service.
We maintained funding through the CLTS County Waiver programs, MCOs through the Family Care program, multiple private insurance companies, the VA Program, and IRIS Consulting Agencies.
Since 2022, I have designed and implemented comprehensive training programs to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
