• Demonstrated medication administration, health assessments, and documentation for patients with Orthopedic trauma, spinal surgery, and other elective Orthopedic surgical diagnosis under nursing supervision.

Strong Memorial Hospital, OB/GYN Units (96hrs)

• Strengthened clinical skills in postpartum assessment, FHR auscultation, preeclampsia assessment, and assisting with deliveries. Shadowed in the Newborn Nursery assisting the nurses with newborn assessments, vital signs, feeding, and personal care. Shadowed the breastfeeding and lactation medicine team gaining further insight in lactation assessments, UR Medicine lactation services, breastfeeding education for mothers of full-term and premature infants.

Golisano Children's Hospital, Pediatric General Care (96hrs)

• Provided nursing care such as physical assessments, medication administration, and evidence-based nursing interventions. Created evidence-based care plans for each patient that was cared for.

• Shadowed in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Cardiac Care Center gaining further insight on infant assessments and care, patient rounds, and NICU/PCCC nursing responsibilities.

Strong Memorial Hospital, Mental Health Adult Inpatient Unit (96hrs)

• Provided trauma-informed care to patients that suffered from postpartum depression, schizophrenia, PTSD, and harm to themselves and/or others.

• Shadowed in Inpatient medicine in Mental Health and Strong Recovery gaining awareness in community resources for addiction and nursing responsibilities for patient care.

Strong Memorial Hospital, Adult Acute Medicine (240hrs)

• Provided care for a diverse patient population including patients diagnosed with heart failure, sepsis, PNA, COPD, GI bleed, Cardiac disease, diabetes ESRD, and ESLD.

• Demonstrated a dynamic, collaborative care team focused on exceptional outcomes while demonstrating positive communication skills, flexibility, creativity, and commitment to team work to the nursing staff.

Strong Memorial Hospital, Post-Partum/Mother-Baby (120hrs)

• Educated mothers in changing diapers, breastfeeding, and holding babies while also providing appropriate care to mothers and babies before and after the childbirth
