Bearen Arellano

For my high school PACE project, I volunteered at a local fire station where I helped with daily tasks around the station. My responsibilities included cleaning, organizing equipment and supplies, helping with yardwork, and making sure the station stayed clean and ready for emergencies. I observed how firefighters work together, prepare for calls, and maintain their equipment. This experience taught me the importance of responsibility, teamwork, and being dependable in a professional environment. It also gave me a better understanding of the daily duties and expectations of a firefighter.
