I am a well spoken and trained young woman with great skills in helping customers face to face to make sure they are satisfied with what help I have provided to them. I am excellent in listening and managing time, and keeping everything important organized so it is easier for me or someone else to find if needed for future situations. I am very helpful and do not mind lending a hand when needed. I am all about team work and making sure everyone is comfortable with working with me in the work place.
In my current job they are letting me go due to me going to school, although it was mentioned and the details were laid out during the interview process. I really hope you can work with my schedule so I can provide for my community. I cannot work weekends, and I cannot work past 6pm. But other than those two details I am available in the early mornings and afternoons until 6pm.
I was working here during my last weeks of high school. I would go in at 12:30pm and get off at 5pm. Everyday I would go in the children were napping I would clean up the area from the previous teacher. I was taking care of 15-20 children from the ages 3-5, sometimes alone or with my assistant teacher. I was always on the go constantly standing up and helping the children with what they needed. After the day was over, I would close the classroom. Meaning sweeping, vacuuming and wiping down surfaces. I am very good with being under pressure because of this job.
On a daily basis I am using our computer system in order to do transactions from customer to customer. I am quick with using the computer system and typing in information in order to validate the identity of our customers. I use friendly greetings and friendly goodbyes whenever the customer is fully through with the transactions. I am good with keeping personal information organized. Being a bank teller allows me to be on my feet and allow me to be time organized and to be able to help customer in a timely manner and make sure they leave satisfied. My last day will be on August 19th due to unfair treatment in the work place.
I assisted customers with shoes and merchandise as requested. I would always welcome with a smile and a "Hi, welcome to Journeys. Is there anything I can do for you today." I would use our data base to enter their information into our rewards system. If they did not have a rewards account with us, I would recommend signing up because it offered certain percentages off with purchases. At the end of the day, I would do my sales associate duties. Meaning I would sweep, mom, vacuum, and wipe down surfaces. I would also help the managers with their managing duties. I would constantly handle cash and use our computer system almost daily. I was always involved with friendly face to face conversations so the customers knew I was there to help.
