  • Responsible for all services and activities involved in the Thomas M Ryan Center and Bradford Boss Ice Arena's maintenance and operations, including but not limited to HVAC, electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, plumbing, dehumidification, generators, chillers, boilers, commercial kitchens, drains, and associated equipment
  • Utilize a Building Automation System (Siemens: Insight) to monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot all aspects of major building systems to achieve optimum comfort and energy savings while balancing the clients, customers, and tenants' needs
  • Operate and monitor the Boss Ice Arena’s Ice plant and rink controls via Cimco controls
  • Create and implement a multi-site EHS plan, including a comprehensive OSHA training system, facility-wide hazard assessment, and safety program
  • Manage the execution of events from an operational standpoint; including oversight of changeovers, setups and takedowns, cleaning, and whatever needed to execute the event successfully
  • Establish a professional and working relationship with integral University personnel and departments, including: Capital projects, Engineering, the University Facilities Group, and others
