• Responsible for all services and activities involved in the Thomas M Ryan Center and Bradford Boss Ice Arena's maintenance and operations, including but not limited to HVAC, electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, plumbing, dehumidification, generators, chillers, boilers, commercial kitchens, drains, and associated equipment
• Utilize a Building Automation System (Siemens: Insight) to monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot all aspects of major building systems to achieve optimum comfort and energy savings while balancing the clients, customers, and tenants' needs
• Operate and monitor the Boss Ice Arena’s Ice plant and rink controls via Cimco controls
• Create and implement a multi-site EHS plan, including a comprehensive OSHA training system, facility-wide hazard assessment, and safety program
• Manage the execution of events from an operational standpoint; including oversight of changeovers, setups and takedowns, cleaning, and whatever needed to execute the event successfully
• Establish a professional and working relationship with integral University personnel and departments, including: Capital projects, Engineering, the University Facilities Group, and others
• Build an effective asset database and operation and maintenance program for facility assets between both sites by establishing a CMMS system (MicroMaint) to assist in predictive and preventative maintenance
• Work closely with contractors and service providers to ensure building systems are kept in good order and receive proper preventative maintenance and repairs
• Develop an energy management program for electrical, water, sewer, and gas consumption within the facility
• Develop and maintain accurate record-keeping systems for key building metrics including; facility utilities, hazardous materials, work order recordings, material safety data sheets, and other required records and permits
• Maintain knowledge of changes in pertinent Federal, State, and Local regulations
• Order, receive, and maintain supplies and materials for maintenance programs within budget guidelines
• Participate in Operational budget preparing; forecast funds needed for equipment, materials, and supplies; monitor and approve expenditures, and implement adjustments

Assumed the responsibilities of the Acting Facilities Manager in 2019 when previous Facilities Manager left on extended medical leave. Additional duties included:

• All facilities reporting to management team, including daily task reviews for the entire plant, maintenance department, and facility staff
• Coordinate facility task integration with workflow and building needs
• Keep data matrices updated with current facilities reporting data
• Communicate on the corporate level any and all facilities updates
• Manage the 5S zones and implement LEAN processes

Assumed Lead Position in 2015 with the following additional responsibilities:

• Management and assigning of maintenance tasks and timelines to the department
• Manage daily and monthly priority lists
• Record and track numerous facility metrics
• Implemented multiple safety and lean programs
• Reworked the entire facility LOTO and Energy control procedures
• Worked with several CMMS systems (PTPRI and EMaint) to facilitate and implement maintenance scheduling, tasking, ordering, PMs, planned and unplanned downtime for machines.

Exclusively completed over 12 large scale facility projects, including: Remapping and relocation of the maintenance and second floor offices, the paintline powder storage area, archive rooms, barrel and drum storage areas, IT server room, and several others

Helped formulate and implement an electrical energy “treasure hunt” which included the replacement of over 3000 fluorescent bulbs and fixture with LED equivalents

• All facility electrical troubleshooting, installation, and repair
• Independent cable tray installation, pulling and termination of wires, grounding, and bonding, installation of field devices and equipment
• Manage material and equipment orders
• Significant troubleshooting and repair of industrial metalworking machines, including: Trumpf 600L and 2000R laser punch presses, Amada FBD Press Brakes, Haeger Pemserters, Timesaver finishers, shears, straighteners, cranes, welders, GEMA paintline systems, PLCs and more
• Coordinated between outside vendors, contractors, and installers
• Create and follow all machine TPM and maintenance procedures
• Assumed additional maintenance responsibilities outside of scope of job, including: Painting, carpentry, grounds-keeping, mechanical repair, plumbing, and more.
