Since my later years in high school, I have worked a variety of jobs that have allowed me to observe the workforce climate from multiple perspectives. I have done work in retail, such as Walmart, in which I was exposed to customer service as well as inventory management systems. I have also done outside work of different avenues, such as customer service, and outside labor. From these experiences, I have gained skills in working with people in different climates, as well as working alone in different scenarios. While I am currently attending the University of North Dakota in pursuit of my marketing degree, I have obtained a great deal of useful knowledge and skills that will allow for me to be very effective and efficient in that field. On a personal level, I am responsible, dependable, disciplined, and driven to exceed standards and expectations of employers.
This job consisted of unloading trucks containing food and miscellaneous merchandise, stocking those items, pushing carts, as well as operating inventory systems for these products.
Outside summer labor, which entails cutting grass, cutting trees, and dirt work. I also would sometimes do minor custodial jobs, and delivered company mail to the local post office and City Hall.
This job entailed providing quick and efficient service to people at The Classic golf course. It was both people visiting to play golf, and people visiting to dine at the restaurant. I would take care of making the course look presentable (aside from grounds work), clean off the equipment used by the golfers, operate the driving range, and sell food out of a small station.
