  • Building Control Products Including Comfort, Fire Protection, Fume Control. Created a comprehensive Quality System for the newly acquired Fire Product Division. This included the handling of radioactive materials used in smoke detectors.
  • Within 12 months, we had a fully functional system, with all SOP’s, KPI’s, and effective CAPA systems.
  • First Pass Yield rose from 75% to 99%.
  • Revamped all CAPA systems, internal and external. Using team and coaching methods reduced effective CAPA closure time from 90 days to 30 days.
  • Developed, deployed, trained full SPC metrics and methodology across entire factory, warehouse, and logistics. Using SPC/DOE, we identified negative trends, improved work cell FPY from 90% to 98%, and order accuracy 90% to 99.8%.
  • As subject matter expert in company deployment of Lean Mfg, served on 6 lighthouse projects, improving layout, workflow, and Takt time. 2 US Patents were awarded for passive automation systems.
  • Quality Program Manager – BAU 2008 – 2009
  • BAU Service Division – Service Supplier to Siemens Healthcare. BAU Service was the supplier to the Siemens Healthcare responsible for installing and commissioning the chillers attached to Siemens Healthcare devices (MRI, CT, etc.). Siemens Healthcare’s initial audit in 2007 identified 26 major findings.
  • Within 6 months, we developed a comprehensive quality system that answered all 26 findings and was accepted by Siemens Healthcare. This included: Intranet webpage, SOP’s, CAPA training across 105 branches. BAU was certified upon completion in 2008.
