• YMCA, Orange County Region - Board Member: 2014 – 2017. Managed a 45 million dollar budget, implemented programs for vulnerable populations including the After School Program, healthy eating initiatives, the Earn a Bike program, and Diabetes workshops for seniors.
  
• CANP - Past President: 2014 - 2016. Continued to work with the Board of Directors on bill language, lobbying, and promotion of the NP role.
  
• AANP State Advisory Committee Member: 2013 - 2015. Worked with committee members on pertinent bills and served in an advisory capacity to the AANP Health Policy staff.
  
• University of California; UCI, UCLA, UCSF, & UCSD - DNP Task Force: 2013 – 2015. Worked with task force members to gain approval from the Deans at the 4 UC nursing schools to begin an inter-campus DNP program. Ultimately, it failed and campuses chose to move forward with their own programs.

Led the organization through gaining consensus and implementing a restructuring process, wrote language for legislation, worked with our lobbyist on pertinent bills, streamlined the reporting process between the Board of Directors and staff, and continued to promote nurse practitioner practice.
