With an eye for detail coupled with my troubleshooting skills I am responsible for the care of a 635-acre camp and retreat center. I am hands on with all aspects of building upkeep, mechanical systems preventive maintenance and repair, remodel, and guest-facing appearances. It is my job to make sure our facilities exceed the expectations of our clients.

• Monitored and maintained cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of service areas.
• Utilized variety of tools and test equipment to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
• Inspected, tested and adjusted mechanical and electrical systems to facilitate proper functioning.
• Performed preventive maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment.

Utilizing my superior hospitality skills, I directe guest services for events such as Family Camps, Men’s and Women’s retreats, and large-scale teen camps. While building sincere and honest relationships I can help new and existing clients navigate the complexities of booking our facilities. This includes negotiating cost and services contracts for the booking, guaranteeing an excellent customer experience, and working with clients to remove any roadblocks preventing a first-class experience

Successfully pioneered a hard-to-fund Young Life area from the ground up. Exercising my entrepreneurial spirit and relational skills I recruited volunteer teams, built community partnerships, and initiated creative and diverse revenue streams that kept our geographic area in a financial surplus my entire tenure while providing life giving services to a diverse clientele.

Operated a summer contracting business that allowed me to higher youth in a workplace mentoring program that taught work ethic, relationship skills, and construction and landscaping skills to area youth.

· Led the successful development and implementation of strategic plans to expand company presence in new markets within the assigned area

· Cultivated and maintained relationships with key stakeholders and partners to support business growth and drive revenue

· Oversaw and managed a team of volunteers to ensure our organization protected the dignity, included, and represented to the best of our ability all peoples in our communities

Created and implemented teen outreach and mentoring programs. Built community service partnership that benefitted the local schools.

· Provided pastoral care and support to church members, including hospital visits, counseling, and prayer

· Coordinated and oversaw small groups, youth ministry, and other church programs

· Organized and participated in community service projects and outreach initiatives to engage with and serve the local community

Managed and performed all maintenance, groundskeeping, and major remodeling of single and multi-family residential units throughout Pierce County.  Job duties included all phases of electrical, plumbing, hvac, and general construction and upkeep along with large scale landscaping design, installation, and upkeep.

While catering to first time, senior, and financial programs assisted tenants I utilized my skills in empathy, learning, and conflict resolution to maximize customer care and minimize negative impact to the company.
