I am a swing driver. I run different routes almost everyday and would stay on a certain route depending on if the normal route driver was out for a certain amount of time. I have driven all vehicles in the station ranging from the small transit van to the 30+ foot box trucks. I am DOT Certified. In the beginning of the job, I would be tasked with unloading cans filled with packages onto the belt so they could get to the certain route they're supposed to be on. I would load cans with packages left behind or if they were next day packages. I now load my own truck plus two other trucks until the drivers arrive to take over. I always make sure my truck is organized for the route to make it easier to deliver and be done in a timely manner. As of now, I am on the Redstone Arsenal route and have been for the past month.

Would run on various parts of the line per management, applying specific parts to the engine depending on the station I was at. Maintained a clean work area.

Worked on various military units that would connect and be used for military radios, worked on antennas such as fully making them from the ground up. Soldered wires for the antennas, various circuit boards for the units, and other equipment. Worked in the warehouse, loading and unloading packages, organizing product and sometimes running the forklift. I would drive the company van to pickup or drop off certain supplies that were needed.

Ran laminating machine producing film for various brands. Made sure to keep work area and machine cleaned. Produced labels and paperwork off computer. Had to change film on both sides of the machine and fix film if it came off rollers. Used pallet jack to move products around and organize them and to get rolls of film on machine.
