Assist with maintaining Appendix 24 and O&M budgets. State credit card holder for Appendix 24 purchases. Coordinate training with all Mutual Aid partners. Obtained and maintained BTV SIDA Badge, along with DOD restricted area badge.
Design, implement & maintain an all encompassing training program for members of the military fire department. This training program consists of not only maintaining all Firefighter certifications but all readiness training required by military as well. Unit Career Advisor for 158 CES/CEF, successfully guided members on their respective career paths as well as maintained and increased membership within department by nearly 49% within last year. Tracked maintained and performed Enlisted Performance Reviews for all TSgt and below. November 2019- August 2021 on Military orders to supplement our Fire Prevention office due to vacancy/deployment. Conducted 30+ Facility inspections, 30+ Sprinkler and HEF system test/acceptance testing as well as multiple fire alarm drills for building occupants. During this timeframe gained wealth of knowledge in NFPA, International Building Codes and DoD Instructions on building codes and testing safety/warning systems.
Operations Firefighter, maintained ARFF vehicles as well as Structural apparatus conducting daily/weekly/monthly inspections. Responded to emergencies on and off Airfield. Worked rotating 24 on 48 off shift. Maintained National Registry and State of Vermont EMT license. Maintained FAA Airport Firefighter certification.
