My family has been fostering since I was six years old. My heart breaks to see the traumatized and weary children that come into our home; however, my heart also soars when my family gets to care for them and lavish our love on them. I have learned invaluable lessons while fostering and would not be the person I am today without my fostering experiences.

Night to Shine is a prom event for people with special needs that is put on by the Tim Tebow Foundation. I volunteered as a buddy at the event. I got to help people with special needs experience a magical night because they were the center of attention for the first time. I love being able to give them the night of their life because seeing them have a good times makes me excited.

• Enforced rules and regulations to ensure fair play during competitions.
• Communicated effectively with players and coaches to clarify decisions.
• Maintained composure under pressure while making split-second decisions.
• Collaborated with other officials to coordinate game flow and integrity.

• Volunteered with the Youth Team at Eleven22
• I led small group sessions for middle school boys every Sunday
• I volunteered with the Youth Team because I wanted my service hours to mean something. I wanted to actually care about what I volunteering for and not just volunteer to get the hours.
