• Worked with the Executive Director of Stony Brook Opera as the Assistant Director, attended opera rehearsals and took notes for the director.

• Helped with preparing costumes and props for the production and characters.

• Provided suggestions of staging details, including lighting, props setting, characters’ positions and movements, etc.

• Taught basic theory of music such as major and minor keys, scales, intervals, chords and modes, etc.

• Used technology to support teaching including PowerPoint and OneNote, etc.

• Communicated student’s achievements with instructors and developed plans for improvement.

• Grading students’ homework and quizzes.

• Held individual study sessions for students who needed and provided feedback to instructors.

• Held weekly office hours both in person and online to answer students’ questions.

• Supported “The Little Musicians” in their outreach programs to teach children in rural China.

• Worked with the “Tianjin Music College Choir” to plan, execute and perform in the New Year celebration

• Organized performances of the “Tianjin Music College Choir” and led groups of volunteers to welcome performances from outside organizations.

• Taught children and young adults’ vocal lessons.
