- Coordinate staffing each shift to meet production plans and or not cover units for overtime savings
- Work directly with maintenance planners and coordinators to schedule maintenance work that would result in minimal downtime
- Hold monthly safety meetings with my shift which require training and testing of required subjects
- Also, an hour-long open discussion of overall plant safety and concerns
- I hold daily staff meetings with management, maintenance, scheduling and training management to report all production and or activities within our department
- Work directly with area engineers in troubleshooting and equipment efficiency
- One of two salary personnel to staff the plant on the back shifts
- Responsible for 12 direct employees
- Batch area production consisting of 2 spray dryers, 1 ribbon blender, slurry drying tank, 2 tumbler reactors, 8 chemical reactors, and 2 distillation units.
- Various packaging systems including liquid, powder units. I also have great knowledge with HAVER units and robotic packaging.
