The attached resume highlights my unique skill set and considerable experience. As you will notice I have strong product knowledge of a variety of specialty coatings for residential as well as commercial.
Throughout my career I have owned and managed small businesses that have installed and sold products such as, Polyaspartic garage floor coatings. Deck coatings, Broad cast Systems, Epoxy coatings, Trowel down Elastomeric coatings, roll-brush and spray on acrylic coatings, Urethane spray foam, Urethane spray on truck box liners both high pressure and low pressure, experienced in polishing concrete and I am familiar with the equipment and tools that it takes to apply these products.
I am very enthusiastic about the opportunity to be a part of a reputable, established company such as yours and I believe that my education, experience, track record and motivation warrants your serious consideration.
If you are seeking a representative to expand your market, I have a track record for meeting, and exceeding established annual sales budgets.
Through effective and tactical planning, my marketing and sales strategies have consistently led to increased sales volumes and high profitability throughout my 30 plus year career as a sales representative and business owner. My interpersonal skills are solid and adaptive, I have a reputation for maintaining successful client relationships. I am resourceful and committed to establishing new customer contacts.
I am a team player who is always conscious of profitability. I would welcome the opportunity to meet with you at your convenience to discuss any suitable position available. As mentioned, I have owned and operated a small business for several years. There are several competitors in the area, and I am still able to be awarded 75% of my quotes that I write and at a higher price point, I follow up the next day to see how my quote is holding up. Several times I am higher in price (sometimes $1000.00 or more) but still get the job, I always ask why they choose my company and the answer is product knowledge, honesty, professional presentation and product experience. My ability to think on my feet after many years of sales and product knowledge is one of my best tools. When customers have projects and are asking for product advice I am able to answer there questions without hesitation as I have the knowledge and experience not just in sales but installation. If what they are asking for is not the correct fit for there project then I am able to direct them to another solution to save the sale. My knowledge on how products work differently from each other and where they will and wont work is another valuable tool. On the other hand if there is not a proper solution I am not one to try to sell a customer products that I know will fail, I will point out that the substrate will need to be replaced or reworked prior to resurfacing. I have a great track record I guess that is why!!
