My Primary duties are to enforce state, federal, and military laws, and protect military property, protect nuclear assets on all Navy property on the Kitsap Peninsula. Possess arrest authority and carry a firearm. Respond to calls for service and operate emergency vehicles. Perform medical aid when needed. Back up city, county and state agencies when needed. De-escalate highly volatile situations including encounters with emotionally disturbed persons. Interview victims, suspects, and witnesses of crimes, including Juveniles and people from all socio-economic backgrounds. Investigate and handle cases such as vehicle collisions, theft, suicide, domestic assault, lost juveniles and burglary etc. Identify, collect , handle, and store evidence. Practice positive community policing. Write detailed and concise reports specified to department bail schedule. Conduct patrols within federal properties owned by the Department of Defense. Conduct traffic stops for any state motor vehicle violations; and issue citations on case by case bases. Respond to all calls for law enforcement assistance or service that take place within or surrounding the installations and federal property. Arrest/detain/cite personnel who aren't in obedience with state and federal laws. Conduct high risk traffic stops. Respond to calls using vehicle equipped emergency equipment as need-be. I have issued over 45 citations utilizing the Assimilative Crimes act, 18 USC. under Washington State Code. I have also Conducted over 20 motor vehicle accident investigations and conducted and closed over 17 criminal investigations, i.e., stolen property/vehicles, criminal threats, domestic abuse/assault.

My primary duties during this time period of operations was to coxswain a combat craft  to deploy U.S. assets such as U.S. Coast Guard Law Enforcement detachments, DEA and Naval Forces  on or to suspected illicit drug motor vessels for the purpose to detain, document or question or to search and seize any personnel or craft or equipment suspected of smuggling illicit drugs or in violation of human trafficking laws.

During this time i received the U.S. Coast Guard Special Operations ribbon and completed over 13 successful vessel boardings which resulted in the seizure of over 3.8 metric tons of illicit narcotics, 20 detainees suspected of illicit drug trafficking and the seizure of 2 motor vessels with zero mishaps.
