My Primary duties are to enforce state, federal, and military laws, and protect military property, protect nuclear assets on all Navy property on the Kitsap Peninsula. Possess arrest authority and carry a firearm. Respond to calls for service and operate emergency vehicles. Perform medical aid when needed. Back up city, county and state agencies when needed. De-escalate highly volatile situations including encounters with emotionally disturbed persons. Interview victims, suspects, and witnesses of crimes, including Juveniles and people from all socio-economic backgrounds. Investigate and handle cases such as vehicle collisions, theft, suicide, domestic assault, lost juveniles and burglary etc. Identify, collect , handle, and store evidence. Practice positive community policing. Write detailed and concise reports specified to department bail schedule. Conduct patrols within federal properties owned by the Department of Defense. Conduct traffic stops for any state motor vehicle violations; and issue citations on case by case bases. Respond to all calls for law enforcement assistance or service that take place within or surrounding the installations and federal property. Arrest/detain/cite personnel who aren't in obedience with state and federal laws. Conduct high risk traffic stops. Respond to calls using vehicle equipped emergency equipment as need-be. Investigate and interview witnesses/victims/suspects using reasonable suspicion or probable cause to determine circumstances and conclusions. Handle evidence collection. Preform traffic investigation and traffic control duties. Experienced in close quarters combat and advanced weapons handling. Certified in the use of M9 handgun, MK18 handgun, M500 shotgun, M4 rifle (Sharpshooter), OC spray, collapsible baton handling, handcuffing, defensive tactics, use of force/deadly force, riot/mob control, and verbal de-escalation. Weekly participate in Random Anti-Terrorism Measures, to deter, detect, and disrupt possible terrorist activities. Maintain certifications through the Washington State Patrol in standardized field sobriety tests, and Alco-Test Breathalyzer. Proficient in anti-terrorism, active shooter scenarios, building searches, firearms, and all other essential law enforcement functions. Force protection missions include protecting vital nuclear assets, and working alongside the Department of Energy.

While working a 40+ hour workweek for NBK Bremerton Police Department i have completed the following:

• Uniformed Federal Police Training Program. UPTP-2101 Graduation Date 02FEB2021.
• Patrolman qualified 10AUG2021.
• Completed Annual LEO sustainment training.
• Emergency Vehicle Operator qualified 23FEB2021.
• Lidar/Doppler Radar qualified 20JAN2021.
• DUI/Standardized Field Sobriety Test qualified 03MAR2021.
• Washington State Breath Test Program Refresh 29JUN2023 EXP:29JUN2026.
• Qualified in all required Department issued Weapons (MK18, 9MM, 12GA SG, M16).

PERFORMANCE

• In the past seven months i have been dispatched to over 300 calls to service with zero discrepancies or public complaints. Within this same time period i have conducted over 121 traffic stops in regards to moving violations, violations to state vehicle/traffic laws and federal policies. I have issued over 45 citations utilizing the Assimilative Crimes act, 18 USC. under Washington State Code. I have also Conducted over 20 motor vehicle accident investigations and conducted and closed over 17 criminal investigations, i.e., stolen property/vehicles, criminal threats, domestic abuse/assault.
• I have received nothing but high remarks by my superiors in regards to my professional conduct in the performance of my duties.

My primary duties as a Security Guard is to control access while standing static watch stations in accordance with appropriate regulations and to detect and prevent theft, damage, accident, trespass, sabotage and espionage and to enforce the security regulations of the installation.

While working for NBK Security Department i have completed the following:

• Graduate of the NBK Guard Academy.
• Fully Qualified to stand Post watches.
• Qualified in all required Security Force Weapons (9MM, 12GA SG, M16).
• Qualified in all required NAVEDTRA's to operate as a Guard.
• Successfully completed the PAT within the past 12 months.
• Completed all required CBT (TWMS, IDP, ESAMS) and are within periodicity.
• Completed the 6 month requirement of qualified guard experience at Naval Base Kitsap.

As a Correctional Officer working for WCCW my duties include providing safety and security, and assist in controlling, directing, and monitoring the activities and movement of adult offenders. This includes maintaining security of the institution and controlling movement into, out of and within the institution in accordance with established department methods and procedures.

My primary duties required me to lead a team of armed security force members that respond to immediate shipboard threats such as : Bomb (VBID or IED), Sabotage, Hostage and armed intruder threats. My duties also include standing as Anti-Terrorism Officer (ATO), Anti-Terrorism Tactical Watch Officer (ATTWO) as well as Chief of the Guard over an armed ECP and supervise the screening and/or inspecting personal and commercial vehicles requesting installation pier access, Controlling personnel access by verifying identification/credentials and maintaining deck logs and pass-down logbooks to document security events.

Personally responsible for the safety and implementation of a shipboard security team to move safety and effectively throughout a shipboard setting to identify, cordon and neutralize any threats inherently dangerous to shipboard military or contracted personnel and to protect all government property i am instructed to protect.

Over the past 4 years, in the performance of my duties I have conducted over 12,000 hours of armed sentry watches while protecting over 500 million dollars of sensitive government equipment/property and the lives of thousands of military and civilian personnel with zero mishaps.

My primary duties as ASF program manager include but not limited to the selection, training and the tracking of qualified armed personnel to be assigned temporary duty to Norfolk Naval Station Security Department to augment base security forces.

In the performance of my duties I supervised, qualified, trained and tracked over 25 armed sentry personnel while placing them for temporary duty to Naval Station Norfolk Security Department during this 3 year period with zero incidents or mishaps.

My primary duties as HPU Leading Petty Officer include but were not limited to the supervising, training and tracking over 18 military police personnel that provide waterfront anti-terrorism and force protection support for Naval Station Norfolk and 63 Atlantic Fleet Waterborne assets.

Directly responsible for creating a rotating watch bill  that comprised of 12 boat crews to sustain a 24/7 continuous waterborne protection requirement for all moored assets within the vicinity of Naval Station Norfolk. 

Supervised the operation and maintenance of 12 Naval Security Unit 30 foot Boats and attached Crew Served weapons. 

My primary duties as Floor Leader include but were not limited to the over watch of  over 350 Iraqi detainees while ensuring  professional care, custody and control. 

My primary duties during this time period of operations was to coxswain a combat craft  to deploy U.S. assets such as U.S. Coast Guard Law Enforcement detachments, DEA and Naval Forces  on or to suspected illicit drug motor vessels for the purpose to detain, document or question or to search and seize any personnel or craft or equipment suspected of smuggling illicit drugs or in violation of human trafficking laws.

During this time i received the U.S. Coast Guard Special Operations ribbon and completed over 13 successful vessel boardings which resulted in the seizure of over 3.8 metric tons of illicit narcotics, 20 detainees suspected of illicit drug trafficking and the seizure of 2 motor vessels with zero mishaps.

My primary duties during this time period required me to screen and inspect personal and commercial vehicles requesting installation pier access;  Controlling personnel access by verifying identification/credentials; Patrolling required security positions or perimeters for suspicious activity and maintaining deck logs  and pass-down logbooks to document security events.
