I like working with kids. I have a 7 year old sister and two younger cousins with whom I play and teach athletic skills. I want to get my teaching certification to teach and coach and I feel this opportunity will give me a great start to understanding what I need to succeed in the field of education.
I have an Uncle who has taught and coached at both the high school and intermediate level and I admire him and his work ethic. He is a motivator for me.
Also, my Grandfather is a retired CCISD bus driver, who made a second career of it after retiring from a chemical plant. I have heard his stories and I think working with kids is an art and something to take pride in doing right.
