Assess critically ill residents and report finding to our Nurse practitioner and or Medical Director

Respond and coordinate actions in emergency situations

Ensure proper infection control techniques are utilized

Track and trend infections and the effectiveness of the use of antibiotics

Assist staff to identify and establish methods to avoid or reduce injuries to residents

Review and investigate resident incidents

Provide care to the residents on the unit with medications, wound care, respiratory treatments, and ADL's

Collaborate with staff, families, and residents with the care provided

Proficient in obtaining IV access and IV medication administration

Proficient in blood draws

Advanced skills in conflict resolution with families, residents, and staff
