BRANDI ROBINSON

As a Release Clearance Coordinator, I am responsible for overseeing the lawful release of inmates by ensuring compliance with Florida Statutes relating to post release requirements and assisting in the preparation of inmates for successful release into communities statewide as well as providing direction and guidance to the Release Officers statewide. I run reports to get updated information on inmates releasing, help with immediate releases of inmates in both county jails and facilities, run background checks state and national.

• Detainer coordinator for the FDOC. I notified and worked with agencies from all over the United States to schedule pickups for inmates facing charges on other cases. I notified the agency when the inmate was approaching his end of sentence and scheduled the pickup notes in OBIS and relayed that to the facility. I also assist with placing and withdrawing detainers.

• Responsible for answering phone calls, distributing correspondence to correct personnel, ordering all office supplies for the unit, preparing meeting documentation, preparing documents for IRIS. Access and using CDC to look up inmate files. Access and navigation of CCIS, NCIC and FCIC. Assisting with review of youthful offenders for the boot camp program. Helped with allocating inmates coming to prison from county jail and helped enter inmate transfer codes in hurricane season.

• I was responsible for general office management for the Inspector General. I answered phone calls from consumers, handled referrals in and out of the department from consumers and employees, managing the project tracking list, monthly record disposition, preparing presentations, assisting with internal audits, assisting with internal investigations, preparing the annual report.

• Assistant to the Assistant Bureau Chief. I was responsible for answering phone calls, distributing correspondence to correct personnel, ordering all office supplies for the unit, preparing meeting documentation, preparing documents for IRIS.
