Brandon Cassidy

As an instructor at Highlands College I'm responsible for on average 70 students per school year.

Assisted in rebuilding and restructuring the entire Preapprentice Line Program curriculum at Highlands College in an effort to create a top tier and robust program that prepares it's students for industry.

Developed a comfort for presenting and teaching material to individuals in both classroom settings as well as in the field.

Welcomed constructive feedback from my peers and supervisors in methods of educating to better my performance in addition to student success rates.

Implemented higher standards within the program than that of normal higher learning institutes with the intentions of producing safe and work ready individuals.

Traveled extensively over a 17 year period working within all different facets associated with powerline work and maintenance.

Collaborated with and worked alongside countless coworkers during a long career in finishing all jobs safely and productively.

Continued to learn and become more educated with the advancements within industry.

• Constructed new power lines, contributing to the expansion and improvement of the electrical grid.
• Restored power to thousands of customers following severe weather events, ensuring minimal downtime for affected areas.
• Collaborated with other linemen to complete complex projects efficiently and within specified timeframes.
• Assisted in the training of apprentice linemen, sharing knowledge and expertise to develop future industry professionals.
