- I have spent the past 11 years working with abused and neglected children and their families. My duties included investigating reports of abuse and neglect, filing petitions and ECOs if necessary and then working with the families to be able to return the children and keep the family stable. I also have experience entering data into the computer and work with the applications included in the Microsoft Office program. I made numerous referrals to services providers to help the families correct the issues in the home that prevent the children from being safe there. I made monthly home visits to these families and helped deliver the services that were needed to help them.
