The Warehouse Weekend Shift Lead is responsible for assisting the Plant Leadership in managing total plant operations for an assigned shift and delivering superior customer satisfaction by driving results and exceeding expectations in the key areas of safety, service, quality and cost. Specific responsibilities include:

Supervise the work of all production employees – oversees production and shipping schedules based on availability of raw and finished goods.

Provide hands-on leadership as a Shift Lead, responsible for mentoring and coaching all production employees and working through employee relations issues.

Support plant administration to ensure compliance to established policies

Capable of enforcing policies and procedures to drive inventory accuracy

Provide leadership to production staff to effectively train, develop, evaluate, motivate, delegate and monitor their activities

Capable of filling in for Plant Supervisor as needed

• Maneuvered forklift over and around loaded pallets, boxes and other materials.
• Communicated with supervisor and other warehouse staff to coordinate work.
• Unloaded incoming items from trucks and rail cars and transported materials to staging area.

• Used hand-held devices and computers to record and monitor inventory levels and completed audits to uncover and address inaccuracies.
• Operated pallet jacks and material moving equipment to receive and transport items from various warehouse locations.
