Brandy Hooks

Hi there, I'm Brandy, and I am a retired Coast Guard veteran who is at her happiest when in a warm climate and enjoying beach/summer vibes. I have over 13 years of experience bartending, starting at a local dive bar and now going on my 9th year working at the Wicked Wolf Bar and Restaurant. My biggest strength behind the bar is my ability to serve and engage well with different types of customers, as well as to work well with different personality types behind the bar itself. My regulars would say I am quick-witted and have no problem bantering in a fun way with those who engage that way. I take pride in my craft in regard to making fine cocktails, and I also feel my best behind the bar when it's crowded, feeding off the energy from the crowd and embracing the chaos. While having fun at work is a great part of being a bartender, both with your coworkers and the customers, it's still a job, and professionalism is required. A happy owner is just as, if not more, important than happy customers. My work ethic and being someone who's dependable and a problem solver of whatever comes up are things I also consider strengths.
