Passionate about serving and eager to continue learning and growing through new experiences and knowledge to enhance my skills.
Currently, as a server at Chili's, I have demonstrated the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintaining cleanliness of dining area, assisting teammates, and providing each guest with attentive, accurate, and comforting service. During the span of a year of dedicated service, I was entrusted with the role of a closing server, a position reserved for a select few, which requires leadership, multitasking, and excellent customer interaction. I am highly coachable, eager to learn, and passionate about delivering exceptional service. Additionally, I take initiative in training new servers, sharing my knowledge to ensure team success and improve overall performance.
As the main lunch server at Rep's, I primarily worked morning shifts, often handling the entire dining room solo unless during special events. I enjoyed building relationships with regular customers and providing personalized service. I also gained experience managing banquets and large parties with multiple checks, while maintaining consistency across multiple separate tables. Additionally, I handled running food and drinks, as well as bussing tables independently.
Crust Brewing was my first restaurant job, where I gained valuable experience. Initially, I worked as a host, learning the restaurant’s operations and main functions. Once I understood the role, I transitioned to the kitchen, where I naturally took on a leadership position as the shift leader for food runners and eventually served as an expo. In this role, I contributed in various capacities, including overseeing food delivery and communication between the kitchen and servers.
Additionally, I worked at the adjacent Tiki Bar, handling to-go orders and delivering food to tables during busy periods. I also gained experience managing banquets, ensuring smooth operations by monitoring food, replenishing supplies, coordinating with the kitchen, and communicating with servers and managers to meet guest needs.
I left to pursue opportunities to become a server, as Crust Brewing did not allow employees under 21 to serve.
Spirit Halloween was my first job at age 16, and it significantly improved my customer service and hospitality skills. I always approached each task with enthusiasm, not out of boredom but because I genuinely cared about contributing. I gained experience handling money as a cashier on some days and stocking aisles from carts on others. Throughout, I prioritized assisting and engaging with customers, which deepened my appreciation for positive customer interactions.
