· Assist and help with training for the new Case Manager from the beginning until submission of cases

• Help Coordinate the reunification process with educational, medical, PSA/QA, and other departments
· Ensured that staff met knowledge standards according to ORR up-to-date guidelines.
· Designed and trained staff on different tools that would contribute to ensuring follow-up policies and procedures including timeframes.
· Trained staff in the Intake, UC, and Sponsor assessments as well as risk assessment
· Trained staff on service and treatment plans, progress notes, and other necessary documentation in a timely manner.

As Case Manager Role
· Manage the timely completion and submission of assessments and service plans.
· Ensure seamless document uploads into ORR's UC Portal for proper record keeping.
· Maintain meticulously organized and comprehensive case files in accordance with ORR Policy and NYAP's CQI Team guidelines.
· Uphold a flexible and efficient work schedule to adapt to evolving demands.
· Commit to extended hours, weekends, and on-call duties to provide continuous support and assistance.
· Ensure case management assessments including initial intake assessment, sponsor assessment are completed within ORR’s timeframes.
· Attend staffing(s) with Case Coordinators, Federal Field Specialists to present cases ready to release.
· Work to ensure children in care are provided a safe environment and safe and timely release from ORR care pursuant to ORR MAP Section 2; this may include completing online address searches, obtaining birth certificates to prove relationship, income verifications, background checks, and other actions to ensure proper vetting of the Sponsor, household members and adult caregivers.
Complete and submit reunification packets and Release Requests for Release Reunification.
Submit completed reunification packet with appropriate referral made by Case Manager for the timely release of youth to designated sponsor.
· Work with cases with assigned Federal Field Specialist and Case Coordinator to coordinate cases for home studies and post release services (PRS).
· Provide support and assistance to Sponsor and UC is, guiding them from the initial process to successful completion of the DNA testing process.
· Identifying risk cases for children and elevating to Lead and FFS.
· Provide weekly face-to-face updates to youth and telephone updates to minor and sponsor.
· Ensure the provision of two weekly telephone contacts with family in the US or COO, primary caregiver and/or sponsor;
· Facilitate incoming calls to minors with the appropriate family members and other approved caregivers.
Prepare and Upload weekly into the Portal all the Outcomes Forms for Greenville SC Facility in a timely matter.
